Yesterday I published a review of the new Hugh MacLeod book "Ignore Everybody".

And I promised to give away the two copies that I got from Hugh's pre-order promotion.

And so here's how you can enter MY competition.

I have two copies of the book, one is signed by Hugh with a unique cartoon and his signature – and has been read by me, once.  The other is pristine from the bookshop.

See a photo of the signature

If you'd like a copy I will choose at random from anyone who posts a comment below.

However, I also want to raise money for an orphanage, Sreepur Childrens Village that I worked for after I left school.  They sell hand made greetings cards in order to provide employment for destitute women and revenues to run the orphanage.  100% of money earned goes back to the charity…. compare that to the 'normal' charity Christmas card which returns a miserable 27p – 47p in the pound of the purchase price to the good cause.

1.  Post a comment and say if you intend to buy cards or make a donation

2.  Buy a pack of greetings cards OR make a donation to the charity direct from my JustGiving page

3.  Cross your fingers

I will contact you on Thursday 28th August using the email address you use for the comment if you've won asking for your postal address.

Good luck!

  1. That’s got to be worth buying some christmas cards for, especially if its the signed copy, like a bit of lived in in a book :)

Jeremy – thanks for being the first to comment. I am passionate about the charity and the cards are nice as well!
