About Rebecca Caroe

I work as a business to business sales and marketing consultant, specialising in New Business Development - finding new customers for your products and services.
My experience has been principally in UK and US companies trading in Europe. I now work as a self-employed consultant. My clients range from two man start-ups to listed FTSE 250 organisations. The common theme is New Business Development. Some I work with for short projects - others for long term assignments. I enjoy the challenge of both.

Things I do with my clients: These are things I enjoy and so do well. I’ve done most of them many times and can give you references, if you need.
In no particular order….

  1. Mentoring and coaching anyone with business development responsibility or who has to collaborate with biz dev to do their job better and get results.
  2. Moving your whole company to an Enterprise 2.0 operation . This is a more open relationship with its customers and prospects though using web 2.0 techniques (for yourselves not clients) and creating the open culture internally that enables outsiders to recognise the 'personality' of the agency - bypassing traditional outbound communication methods.   3. Facilitating an away day for a client or your senior team. Particularly business planning, setting a vision for the next 3-5 years, ingraining business development to the company culture
  4. Improving your new business methods and, particularly, pitching, customer research (Net Promoter System), finding new clients.
  5. Running a training session on "New business for non-new biz people"
  6. Helping the senior team to set a vision for the business and to write a high-level business plan over 3 to 5 years in order to achieve the vision
  7. Rebranding the company – agreeing the company’s vision, values and setting out ways for that to be articulated in strap lines, company brochure, website, press releases, pitches and other documentation
