You've probably all read about Lowe and Pepperami parting company and the project being listed on ideabounty.com for all and sundry to pitch.

Great opportunity or terrible waste of time?

The debate rages on but here's my ha'pennysworth.  Go opensource.  Publicise as if your survival depended on it.

1. If you are a strongly creative team and want to get noticed – go for it
2. Work the pitching really hard by running your own viral / polling around your creative solutions
3. Publish your views on the other pitches (if you can see them online)
4. Go as public as you dare with your creative proposals including media and online.  Show off your knowledge
5. If you don't win, create a case study and send it to all your clients and prospects showing them what you suggested and what other agencies put forward.
6. Live or die by your creativity.
