A couple of days after I wrote this post about Viadeo I was contacted by Rachael Simmons of Hyperlaunch – a digital / PR agency working with Viadeo.

She was charmingly straightforward about how she found my comment and inviting me to see their next release

Firefox is so widely used (It’s my only browser) that it is critical that any social network worth it’s salt needs to make it’s content and tools available to all users.  Viadeo are indeed aware of the Firefox incompatibility issue and are working to correct it on the next release.

I was wondering, would you be interested in testing out the site once these changes have been made? It’s always very useful to seek feedback from users and Viadeo is one of those rare companies that is willing to listen to user feedback and criticism.

Well, I can think of plenty of wonderful companies who also act on user feedback – so that's a tad self-congratulatory.

We'll see.
