If you want to get a career in marketing but haven’t found yourself a job – this will get you a first position on your CV and some experience that will stand you in good stead.
A marketing, communications, business studies degree and an interest in the internet is essential. No prior knowledge of websites, blogs or online marketing is needed – full training provided. An interest in sport (rowing) is an advantage.
The marketing services work includes:

- Email out to RSS list
- Setting up and updating Facebook pages
- Setting up and updating Twitter
- Blog monitoring for competitor sites to research article writing topics
- Outbound email newsletter marketing
- Google adwords monitoring
- Website statistics monitoring
- Printed collateral design commissioning
- Co-ordinating tele-sales
- Advertising on Websites
- Advertising in print magazines.
- Building a database of prospective customers
- Exhibition and trade stands for conferences
- Public relations
We can teach you how to do all these things – but the successful applicant will have a working knowledge of marketing and will need to be interested in the internet and new technologies for marketing.
The candidate should be located in Dunedin, New Zealand. Exceptionally we will consider remote working.
