When I started this blog one of the first posts I wrote was a Manifesto - I wrote about the people who have inspired me during my working life.

And around two years and nine months later, one re-connected with me, Vyla Rollins.

Thanks to wonderful ease of the internet and Linked-in she found me online. and I’d like to set her up as my female hero for Ada Lovelace Day 2010.

She has a fabulous can-do attitude.  I remember sitting in her office at JLW and reading a note she’d pinned to the wall.  Her objectives for the year [I won't embarass her or me by saying what year it was] but that degree of personal focus on her own brand and determination to make her career the way she wants it remains today.

Vyla lectures at the London Business School and is an HR and organisational psychologist with a specialism in organisational performance.

Go read about her here.

Anyway, for the history-minded, here’s my post from last year
