We all want to do jobs that pay well and are fun to do, but at times doing the same thing gets boring. For how long can one perform the same task without it getting mundane? This is why we need to find jobs that are creative so that we keep our creative juices running.

Even if you are caught in a 9 to 5 job, you can take on one of the following jobs as a part-time job to make sure you enjoy something on the side, while also making a good amount of money.

  1. Content Writing

When you think of it, content writing is actually boring. You have to research and then present ideas to your audience, which can be taxing and also difficult for some individuals. However, deep down inside content writing is basically creative writing that allows you to use your brain and create sentences and engaging content that stays with the reader and informs her.

This is definitely not everybody’s cup of tea. You need to have a good vocabulary and understanding of grammar to excel as a writer, but the opportunities are endless. You can write fiction, biographies, scripts and even articles.

  1. Graphic Design

Graphics are everywhere these days, from television ads to banners. If you have a good understanding of design, layout and colors, then you can be a graphic designer. You will, however, need prior education to be able to excel as a graphic designer as it involves working on tools like Photoshop. Nonetheless, thanks to online tutorials this is not much of a problem.  Think about the memes you could create!

  1. Animations

Just like graphic designing, an animation is also a lot of fun and requires education. This is better-paying than graphic design in most cases as the number of animation experts are fewer than the number of graphic designers.

  1. Film Direction

Film direction requires tonnes of experience and education, however you can start small by directing school plays or just a local amateur dramatics play in your neighborhood. This will be a lot of fun and you’ll also allow yourself to mingle with like minded people. It can be a good social activity as well.

  1. Teaching

Teaching is one of the most respected and rewarding professions. Everyone remembers the good teachers from their schooling.  When we talk about teaching, we don’t just mean teaching high school subjects like maths. You can teach everything, from fitness, to cooking tips to piano to how to care for your cat.

Just be creative with the ways of teaching and you will have a lot of fun doing it.  There are online websites where you can showcase your expertise and willingness to teach so you can reach a worldwide audience.

Do something that you find exciting and you will never despise your job – it’s what you make it.
